How to Play Poker, Blackjack, and Texas Hold Em

Poker: The Basics

As u can see, poker is one of the most common card game in casinos. If u do not know how to play, don’t worry. Ill show you some games, like blackjack, regular poker, and Texas hold em’. This will only show some of the basic rules, and how I play.

1)Blackjack

Blackjack is mostly based on luck, so don’t expect to win every time. The way to play blackjack is easy, all you need is a dealer(or you), some people, a deck of cards, and some poker chips(optional). First of all, the dealer serves TWO cards to each person, face down. When people say HIT ME, you give them a card. If they pass the number 21, they or you lose. If you win with a black jack (it consist of an ace, a jack, queen, king, or the 10 card), you beat everyone, and the house(or you) wins. If you pass the 21 limit, you lose, and the players may win. If you play with poker chips, when you win, you take the chips(or if someone else won, they take the chips). I do not recall what it is called if two people have the same number(like you have 18, and someone else has 18, and vice versa).

2)Poker

Now poker consist of each player having 5 cards, and you have to wait a little bit. After some time, you can trade 1, 2, 3, 4, even your whole hand if you don’t like what you have(I do not recommend this move, it is a very risky move). After you trade in your cards you don’t want, the dealer will give you new cards, the same amount you traded in(e.g. if you give 1 card, you will get 1 new card, if you trade your whole hand, you get a new hand). Whoever wins, you get the poker chips or money on the table. The way to win is completely different. You can make pairs of the same number, threes of the same number, or even a four of the same number. The hand that beats any other hand id called the royal flush( it consist of an ace, king, queen, jack, and 10 of the same sign, like spades, clubs, diamonds, and hearts). After playing for a while, you will learn new ways and strategies(I haven’t played for while).

3) Texas Hold Em’

You get the same amount of cards, just like in black jack. Only there is a twist. Instead of trying to get the number 21, you have to get pairs, threes, and if your lucky, four of the same number. The dealer will give everyone two cards, but first you must lay down your chips before you get the cards( this is one of the most common way to play, or you can play without chips) and he will lay down one card. If one or both cards concede with the card laid down, you have a play. Keep that play. The dealer will keep on putting down cards until there are 5 cards on the table, before he lays down the next card, you must raise the amount, or raise the required amount. E.g. someone raises the amount by 3 poker chips, you have to put in three more chips to stay in the game, and vice versa. This game doesn’t last long, so it is better that more people play so it can last longer, and for better fun.
